Care and Washing Instructions:
This ensemble consists of two separate pieces that require individual care to maintain their beauty. Always remove the belt before cleaning the dress.
1) For the Dress:
Primary Method (Recommended): Professional dry clean. This will best preserve the fabric's delicate texture, sheen, and drape.
Hand Washing (Use Caution): If you must wash it at home, gently hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent formulated for delicates. Do not wring or twist the fabric. Rinse thoroughly.
Drying: Hang the dress to air dry immediately after washing. Do not put it in a tumble dryer, as heat can damage the fabric.
Ironing: Use a steamer on a low setting for the safest result. If ironing, turn the dress inside out, use the lowest heat setting, and place a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric.
2) For the Embroidered Corset Belt:
DO NOT WASH. Do not submerge the belt in water, machine wash, or dry clean it. The intricate embroidery is delicate and can be damaged by washing.
Cleaning Method: Spot clean only. Use a slightly damp, clean cloth and gently blot any spots or stains. Be very careful around the embroidered areas. Allow it to air dry completely.
Storage: Store the belt flat or loosely rolled to protect the embroidery from snagging or damage.
